Imran Savas didn't build Tape UK from a business plan. He built it from lived experience — of watching brilliant people fail not because of lack of talent, but lack of support.

Raised in a single-parent household, Imran learned responsibility before he learned to play. That early awareness of struggle, sacrifice, and the gap between potential and opportunity never left him. It became the reason Tape UK exists.

In 2019, he walked away from a successful career in accounting and finance, turned down major corporate investment, and launched Tape UK with nothing but a clear vision: expert business support that is accessible, affordable, and built around real people — not corporate assumptions.

What followed was something rare. A company that grows without compromising. That serves without outsourcing. That profits without losing its humanity.

When COVID-19 devastated businesses across the UK, Imran told his entire client base not to pay. Tape UK would keep serving them until they could reopen. It was a decision that defined the company's character — and cemented the loyalty that underpins a 99% client retention rate to this day.

One percent of every client fee funds clean water projects, tree planting, and newborn support in underserved communities worldwide. Growth at Tape UK directly translates into lives changed.

Recognition followed — not that it was ever the goal. Since founding Tape UK in 2019, Imran has accumulated 25 awards and accolades, including Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2024 and 2026. He defeated Gymshark's Ben Francis MBE at the MBCC Awards. His TEDx talk, Leaders of Tomorrow, was promoted to the main TED platform, placing him alongside Bill Gates, Simon Sinek and Mel Robbins. He has been featured across BBC, ITV, Islam Channel and major national publications, and was immortalised in LEGO at Chester Market in 2023. He has spoken at universities, schools, mosques, corporate stages and community gatherings — always with the same message.

He has twice been approached by major corporations offering substantial investment. He has twice said no. Tape UK's purpose, and the trust of the people it serves, are not for sale.
