From Adversity to Impact
Imran Savas wasn’t born into opportunity.
Raised by a single mother in a Mauritian working-class household in the UK, Imran grew up surrounded by economic hardship, social exclusion, and systemic inequality.
Life was far from easy. Free school meals weren’t just a benefit—they were a necessity. Opportunities were few and far between, and role models who looked like him or understood his world were virtually non-existent.
But even as a child, Imran knew one thing: limitation was not an inheritance. It was starting point.
Through resilience, curiosity, and an unwavering sense of purpose, he pushed past every assumption placed on him by society. He didn’t follow the path that was laid out—he carved a new one. One that would allow others to follow.
His mission from day one has been clear: to unlock human potential, remove unnecessary struggle, and create access to success for people from all walks of life.
Tape UK: A Smarter Way to Grow
The idea for Tape UK didn’t come from a boardroom or business textbook. It came from the ground up.
In his early career, Imran worked with countless small businesses and start-ups. He saw the same cycle on repeat: brilliant people with powerful ideas, stuck.
They were trying to do everything themselves—accounting, marketing, websites, admin. This left them burnt out, unfocused, and at risk of failure. Others tried to outsource help, but were met with eye-watering costs, poor accountability, and service providers who didn’t understand small business dynamics.
Imran realised what was missing: a single, integrated team built around the needs of real entrepreneurs.
So in 2019, he left his stable finance career and took a bold leap. With no clients, no investment, and no team, he launched Tape UK.
A company built on one belief:
"Running a small business is hard. Getting help shouldn't be."
Everything Your Small Business Needs, In One Place.
This integrated platform model had never been executed quite like this, making Imran’s approach truly innovative. He assembled a diverse, expert team of accountants, marketers, web designers, and creatives — all working together, seamlessly, under one name: Tape UK.
Tape UK changed the game.
It gives small businesses what they actually need all delivered by one expert team, in-house, at a fixed monthly price. There’s no outsourcing. No bloated contracts. No inconsistent quality. Just real people, doing real work, for real businesses.
Clients pick the services they need. Tape UK handles the rest—all at a fixed monthly price. The result? Less stress. More growth. Real impact.
Today, small businesses across the UK trust Tape UK with their most essential operations. The company has grown year-on-year without outside funding or partners, boasts a 99% client retention rate, and has earned multiple industry awards for its fresh, focused approach to supporting British entrepreneurs.
More Than a Business.
From day one, Tape UK was designed by Imran to be more than a business.
It was built to be a force for good.
Imran built Tape UK with philanthropy baked into its DNA. Every invoice contributes to global development — including funding four clean water and tree initiative projects in underserved communities since 2019.
For Imran, clean water isn’t just charity — it’s justice. It’s a foundation for education, employment, and equality.
Beyond infrastructure, he’s launched major UK-based social campaigns through Tape UK, each rooted in visibility, dignity, and community:
These aren’t marketing exercises. They’re mission-driven movements — designed to inspire action, shift narratives, and unite people through shared humanity.
“Every invoice at Tape UK contributes to something bigger than business. We’re building legacies, not just companies.”
From TEDx to TED Global
In less than a year of launching Tape UK, Imran was invited to speak at TEDx without applying to get on the prestigious platform. His talk, “Leaders of Tomorrow,” struck a global chord and was later promoted to the main TED platform — placing him alongside names like Bill Gates, Simon Sinek and Mel Robbins.
Imran has also featured by BBC, ITV, TED, Islam Channel, M&S, The Sunday Times, and more, recognised for his unapologetically human approach to leadership, entrepreneurship, and equity.
His message was clear: Leadership isn’t a job title—it’s the courage to lift others through trust.
