As Tape UK celebrated its sixth anniversary in 2025, we chose to mark the milestone by highlighting values that matter most to us — community, collaboration, and purpose. Rather than focusing solely on our own achievements, we spotlighted Bread Together, a Chester-based social enterprise doing extraordinary work.
The campaign celebrated the power of sharing, connection, and support — values symbolised through something as simple as baking bread. For nearly six years, Mary and her team at Bread Together transformed lives through community-led baking sessions, skill-building, and shared purpose.
In partnership with Ambitious Creative, we produced a heartfelt short film that captured the impact of shared action and grassroots leadership — a reflection of Tape UK’s own journey from startup to nationwide success.
Just like every loaf requires many hands, every successful business grows through the strength of its community.
We invited audiences to support Bread Together, and remember that together, we rise.
In 2024, we launched #BeyondLabels — a powerful storytelling campaign filmed at New Chester Market. It featured Stuart Fenney, founder of Nice Bites Ltd, and highlighted his inspirational journey from kitchen worker to successful entrepreneur.
The campaign documented Stuart’s early days working across Chester’s food industry, and his leap into entrepreneurship as the first food vendor at the old market — now a thriving hub. Raised in Vicars Cross and educated in Hoole, Stuart’s journey reflected the power of perseverance, family commitment, and staying true to one's roots.
In partnership with Ambitious Creative, Tape UK captured Stuart’s story with authenticity — showing how personal challenges, grit, and belief can lead to business success.
“Stuart and I come from similar working-class backgrounds,” shared Imran Savas. “His story embodies what’s possible when you bet on yourself.”
#BeyondLabels stood as a tribute to UK entrepreneurs who defy the odds, break stereotypes, and lead with purpose.
In Winter 2022, we launched #Superheroes — a cinematic campaign celebrating the founders, freelancers, and business owners who displayed extraordinary strength through challenging times.
Inspired by the style of classic movie posters, the campaign portrayed real-world entrepreneurs as superheroes — not for wearing capes, but for leading with resilience, grit, and vision.
Through bold visuals and storytelling, we honoured those pushing boundaries, growing businesses, and driving local economies forward — even when no one was watching.
At Tape UK, we saw every founder as a superhero in their own right — and #Superheroes was our tribute to them
Our 2021 Christmas campaign, #Love, was a celebration of connection and inclusion. Set to a soulful rendition of “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” by Baby D, performed by Angela Inkson and Andy Gifford, the campaign followed the story of Liverpool couple Natasha and Hana Roks.
Their joyful, adventure-filled love story illustrated the beauty of partnership and the power of embracing love in all its forms.
Through heartfelt footage and stunning music, #Love championed Tape UK’s belief in inclusion and diversity — reminding us all that in a world divided, love is what unites us.
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched #Family — a campaign inspired by a young boxer working tirelessly to support his loved ones while holding on to his dreams.
The campaign followed his journey as he juggled training with part-time work, refusing to give up despite uncertainty. Moved by his dedication, Tape UK offered support — both practical and emotional.
Set to a moving cover of “O-o-h Child” by Daisy Gill, #Family reminded us that family is not just who we’re born to — but who we choose to stand with when times get tough.
Our inaugural solo campaign, #Individuality, launched in 2019 to celebrate the rich diversity of the UK.
From local creatives and shop owners to entrepreneurs and activists, we showcased stories of people from all walks of life whose individuality strengthened their communities.
Partnering with Chester BID and hosted at Storyhouse Chester, the campaign spotlighted identity, inclusion, and connection — values that would go on to shape Tape UK's future work.
#Individuality was more than a campaign — it was a call to honour our differences and unite in mutual respect.
On April 25, 2019, Tape UK partnered with Amble to host our first-ever live event: the Secret Night of Independents at Telford’s Warehouse, Chester, Cheshire.
The evening brought together entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business supporters from across the region — sparking connections, collaborations, and inspiring conversations.
It was the first of many efforts to champion independent talent, local enterprise, and shared innovation.
